I finally wanted tabbed browsing, and installed Firefox. The tabs are so handy for finding open pages and avoiding crap on your Windows taskbar. The text find feature takes getting use to, but is really awesome. There are some other small tweaks, but it's otherwise the same. It maybe a bit faster than IE 6.

I suspect IE 7 works just as well in many ways, I've only used the beta.

It's just so nice to finally have tabbed browsing. It makes daily browsing a lot better. Now, time to explore Firefox plugins, that is what really puts it ahead of IE. They just don't add new stuff to IE quick enough.<img src ="http://blogs.edhassinger.net/aggbug/365.aspx" width = "1" height = "1" />

USB Hub

<trackback:ping>http://blogs.edhassinger.net/services/trackbacks/364.aspx</trackback:ping>
Yesterday, my cheapo basically free HUB didn't do everything I wanted on my <a title="XBOX Rules" href="http://www.xbox.com" target="_blank">XBOX</a>. So I ordered a great USB self/bus powered one with 7 ports (has type A and B). I'm so psyched!

Now I can have my vision camera and bluetooth/USB keyboard working together. And have an easy port for my bus powered portable USB drive and/or MP3 player. All working from the back USB port so the front face is clean.<img src ="http://blogs.edhassinger.net/aggbug/364.aspx" width = "1" height = "1" />

XMAS 2006 Shopping!

<trackback:ping>http://blogs.edhassinger.net/services/trackbacks/363.aspx</trackback:ping>
I've 23 items from buy.com this year! After their Google checkout coupon for $20 off, and rebates I'm getting items free or making money! I'm checking the rebates carefully, as not to get screwed.

These are basically gaming or PC items, which I can always use.

Christmas is really the best time of the year. For glutany!

I really don't splurge on buying, but to get great gift and PC stuff for about $5 all-told, how can I resist. Stuff like Photo printers, 2 Gig memory drives, and 2 Gig SD memory cards. I'll provide links to the item (and maybe the coupon) later....
