So that way I am consistent. The XBOX online service is so much better, despite the Official Playstation Magazine saying it would kill XBOX Live. Ya, right. It can't do 1/2 of what XBOX Live can. No wonder it is free, there is no way they could charge for it.

USB Hub

Yesterday, my cheapo basically free HUB didn't do everything I wanted on my XBOX. So I ordered a great USB self/bus powered one with 7 ports (has type A and B). I'm so psyched! Now I can have my vision camera and bluetooth/USB keyboard working together. And have an easy port for my bus powered portable USB drive and/or MP3 player. All working from the back USB port so the front face is clean.

I'm not surprised the Midway game isn't supported. That way the game can rehash the same titles on Live/Arcade or another cheesy compilation CD. Ditto with the Bust A Move franchise. It's be the same crap over on another platform. Ditto with Chessmaster. PSO is sort of the same, but I would have thought they would include that. With just the PSO fee and the free XBOX Live Silver, it could be just what they need to breath new life (and money) into that game. Perhaps they are saving it for a sequal. That could be were the resources for XBOX are going, since the next PS game is for PS2 only.

Also, it seems like the originals of a lot of games didn't get done, even though they are best sellers. MechAssult and Star Wars Battlefront. I don't think peopel play the originals of those, even online.

It sucks that game saves are not transferable, especially in the case of PSO characters. However, it will give me a chance to go back and finish some games I haven't i.e. Fable, KOTOR

New XBOX Game, Chessmaster

I just learned that Chessmaster for XBOX arrived today!!! Fortunately, I got my ebgames credit today, so I got it for free. I'm glad it came out later, it has a lot more features than the PS2 version. I'm going to activate my XBOX Live account again today. I can't wait to play Chess online.

I only have 1 PS2 game that I can't get for XBOX. That game is Risk. I might get Resident Evil Online at some point. Since most other cames are cross platform, those two are basically the only reason I have a PS2. I doubt I keep my PS2 forever, unlike my XBOX.

Yesterday I heard yesterday was the last day to cash in an old PS2 for a $100 credit with ebgames. I wish I had known, I would have done that.

Last weeknd, I got another XBOX game. Pretty cool for $15. Knights of the Old Republic. A very good XBOX game, and exclusive to that system.

I recently also got the Midway Classic Vol. I. For $20, an awesome deal. It has 20 or so classic 80's arcade game. It definitely brings many fond memories of Gauntlet in high school.
